New York Jets (-3) at Miami Dolphins
At first glance, it seems they the Jets are the play. Miami has struggled early on and New York has been one of the biggest surprises of the season. On top of that, it is still NFL Spanish Heritage Month, so you have to expect Sanchez to play well. Let’s take a closer look at the facts…
Miami’s D is first in the league against the run at 61 yards a game.
(New York is 13th giving up 100 yards a game)
Mark Sanchez is the 27th rated passer in the league
Jericho Cottery is questionable.
Braylon Edwards is questionable... not to play... but as a human being in general.
Chad Henne and Ted Ginn Jr have great chemistry... they roomed together in college didn't they?
Rex Ryan loves seafood buffets in Miami.
All that said... I look for the Dolphins to win straight up. They played the Colts extremely tough and oh yea, that was at home on a Monday Night.
If you don't like either team I think the under will hit. 36.5 is too much for inexperienced QB's against tough D's. It would take a couple of scores by the defenses to bust that number.
Dead wrong on the under, but Miami straight up was +145 on the money line!
