Can someone please explain to me why on 4th and 1 at the 1 yard line you you kick a field goal instead of making a 3 score game? In case you decided not to watch the game here is the scenario: Boise State is up 25 to 14 with 2 minutes left in the third quarter and dominating the game. They drive the ball down to the 1 yard line and have a 4th a goal decision to make. On one had you can kick the field goal and keep it a 2 score game OR go for the touchdown making it a 3 score game (worst case scenario you make them drive the ball 99 yards). The touchdown would have put the dagger in the heart, made the fat lady sing, busted there bubble, put the nail in the coffin, but most important locked up the cover. So my question is where the F*@K is the dagger!
