Prime Time Picks 10-24

In the two Saturday’s of our blogs existence I am 7-2-1…. Let’s keep that train rolling…

Georgia Tech (-5.5) over Virginia
Virginia comes in riding a three game winning streak, but they are a complete fraud. G Tech averages 282 yards on the ground and only completed one pass last week in their win over Virginia Tech. Already this year Virginia has given up 204 yards rushing to TCU, over 100 to William & Mary (in a loss) and 214 to Southern Miss.

LSU (-7.5) over Auburn
Did anybody else watch Auburn play last week? My dad called me and said it looked like I could be playing QB 1 for them… and I played soccer in high school. Auburn put up seven points last week on offense on Kentucky (the other seven was on a field goal block/return). I am a diehard UK fan, but we certainly don’t have a defense like LSU does.

Alabama (-14) over Tennessee
The line opened up at 17 and I am a huge fan of going the opposite way of the betting public (they are idiots!!!). On top of that… The betting public has been right 29% of the time when moving the money line in UT games over the past 3 seasons. Now that is a stat for you!!!

Boston College (+7.5) over Notre Dame
Notre Dame is famous for having let downs against BC. This isn’t your typical BC team, but they will play close enough to cover. ND has trouble laying the hammer down on anyone and expect a little bit of a deflated Irish team after last week’s heartbreaker.

Washington (+10) over Oregon
This game screams let down to me. Oregon has been on fire lately and welcomes USC to town next week. Washington is very, very good at home… 31-23 Loss to LSU and 16-13 win over USC. Ten points is just too many to be getting at home. Huskies cover and possibly win.
