Prime Time Picks - Halloween Edition

Georgia Tech (-11.5) at Vanderbilt

Vandy is bad... they lost to Army earlier a few weeks ago and spent a lot of energy and emotion in last weeks tough loss to South Carolina. G Tech has covered five straight weeks and should be extra hyped now that they have full control of the ACC after V Tech's loss to UNC. It is tough for an option team to have a let down... if we can hold onto the ball we should cover easily.

South Carolina (+6) at Tennessee

Tennessee has had a very up and down year and even in their "ups" (Florida and Alabama) they still lose. They are very inconsistent and are due for an emotional let down after the heart-breaker last week. I think this line is about 3.5 points too high.

Florida State (-10) at NC State

Florida State's offense has been good all year and Christian Ponder has Heisman type numbers. NC State has given up 31, 30, 49 and 52 in their past four games including a 49-28 home loss to Duke in which they were favored by 15.5. FSU hits their stride this week and rolls...

Louisville (-2.5) vs Arkansas State

The Cards are at home to Arkansas State who only lost 24-21 earlier in the year to Iowa. Other than that they are pretty average. Louisville is bad... but this bad? The line started at 4.5 and has moved down two points. I am pretty confident the Cards can win this game at home.

Cincinnati (-15.5) at Syracuse

South Florida 34 Syrause 20
West Virginia 34 Syracuse 13

Both of those games were at home and Cincinnati is way better than the Bulls or Moutaineers. Pike or no Pike, the Bearcats cruise in this one.
