More Irish Drama

I don't think the casual sports fan thinks that Notra Dame is going to return to national prominence or going to pull in top recruits year in and year out. However, if your an Irish fan and want to see your team back in decent bowl games, with an occasional BCS berth, Charlie Weis is not the answer. Since arriving in South Bend in 2005 Weis is 1-2 in bowl games with his only win against Hawaii. His record against teams above a .500 is 3-16 and will more than likely go to 3-17 with game at Pittsburg this weekend. The real problem lies within his erogance! After a loss to Navy this weekend Charile proudly told the media, "I never, ever chage regardless of the result on the field." WHAT?!?!? Can someone please tell me a good coach who has ever said this in any sport? Football is all about schemes and adjustment, this is why the Wildcat offense is constantly evolving and defense have new blitz packages every week. As long as Charlie Weis is at Notre Dame the poor results are going to be consitant with his attituede, never changing.
